SB 1054: Youthful Offenders

GENERAL BILL by Smith

Youthful Offenders; provides that court may not sentence as youthful offenders certain offenders who have pled nolo contendere or guilty to, or been found guilty of, capital felonies, life felonies, first-degree felonies, or second-degree felonies involving use or threatened use of force or violence; removes legislative declaration re construction of basic training program facility, etc. Amends 958.04, 951.231, 958.045; reenacts various ss. of Ch. 958, 985.233(4).
