CS/SB 1098: Uniformed Servicemembers Protection

GENERAL BILL by Military and Veterans' Affairs, Base Protection, and Spaceports ; Fasano ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Lynn ; Crist ; Haridopolos ; Atwater

Uniformed Servicemembers Protection; creates "Florida Uniformed Servicemembers Protection Act"; provides for applicability of specified federal laws to servicemembers when serving on active duty or state active duty; prohibits retaliatory action by landlord for termination of rental agreement by servicemember; prohibits landlord from discriminating against servicemember in offering dwelling unit for rent or in any of terms of rental agreement, etc. Amends FS.
