SB 482: Rental Agreements
GENERAL BILL by Lynn ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Fasano ; Argenziano ; Atwater
Rental Agreements; removes provisions requiring payment of liquidated damages to landlord under certain circumstances upon termination of rental agreement; prohibits landlord from discriminating against member of United States Armed Forces in offering dwelling unit for rent; provides for termination of tenancy having specific duration; requires tenant to give notice before vacating premises, etc. Amends 83.682,.67; creates 83.575.
