HB 1435: Medical Malpractice Insurance Reform
GENERAL BILL by Robaina ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Rivera
Medical Malpractice Insurance Reform; creates medical mutual insurance company; provides for hiring of administrator & for that administrator to act as chief executive officer; requires administrator to develop medical malpractice risk management program; provides for medical malpractice risk management plans; provides for premium effect of compliance with program; prohibits company from receiving certain appropriations, etc. Amends Chs. 627, 766.314.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
