CS/SB 1442: Child Protective Investigations

GENERAL BILL by Children and Families ; Children and Families

Child Protective Investigations; clarifies persons responsible for child's welfare; requires personnel from abuse hotline of CFS Dept. to determine if report meets criteria for child abuse, neglect, or abandonment; requires CFS Dept. to conduct assessment in response to certain reports involving juvenile sexual offenders; deletes reference to professionals mandated to report child abuse, neglect, or abandonment, etc. Amends Ch. 39, 414.065.
