SB 2124: Dependent Children
GENERAL BILL by Peaden
Dependent Children; requires each circuit court in state to establish system of representation for children in state custody; authorizes judicial circuits to contract with public or private entity to provide representation; requires circuit courts of state to establish system to provide representation to children in child abuse, abandonment, or neglect proceedings through appointment of guardian ad litem, etc. Amends 39.4086; creates 39.8225.
