CS/SB 232: Mitigating Factors/Certain Offenses
GENERAL BILL by Appropriations Subcommittee on Criminal Justice ; Cowin ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Fasano
Mitigating Factors/Certain Offenses; provides that consent is not mitigating factor for certain sexual offenses if defendant is more than 5 years older than victim, unless court makes written finding supported by record that victim knowingly & intentionally deceived defendant about victim's actual age. Amends 921.0026.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
