GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Posey
Fla. Hurricane Catastrophe Fund; conforms provisions to creation of Citizens Property Insurance Corporation; authorizes State Board of Administration to adopt rules to specify interest on past due remittances; authorizes Insurance Regulation Office, rather than DOI, to take certain actions relative to fund; provides that emergency assessments are to be levied against insureds procuring certain types of insurance from surplus lines insurers, etc. Amends 215.555.
