CS/HB 269: Indian Reservations

GENERAL BILL by Arza

Indian Reservations; exempts existing reservations of Miccosukee Indian Tribe of Florida from provision of law authorizing State of Florida to take jurisdiction of civil & criminal matters on Indian reservations in state; provides that state shall retain jurisdiction over certain civil causes of action; expressly retains jurisdiction over certain criminal offenses. Amends 285.16.
