Teacher Protection & Respect Act; provides popular name; provides enhanced penalties for assault or battery of teacher or educator, as defined in act; provides additional penalty for person who has had one prior conviction for battery, aggravated battery, or felony battery on teacher or educator; authorizes law enforcement officers to make arrest for certain violations even when violation did not occur in presence of officer. Creates 784.071.
