SB 316: Indian Reservations
GENERAL BILL by Smith
Indian Reservations; provides for state to retrocede jurisdiction over capital felonies, life felonies, & other criminal offenses committed by enrolled member of Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida, or person eligible for enrollment, which occur within reservation of that tribe; provides that retrocession of jurisdiction requires consent of United States Secretary of Interior. Amends 285.16.
