GENERAL BILL by Jordan ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Cantens
Student Conduct/Truancy; authorizes school superintendent to file truancy petition for any student placed on suspension for more than specified period during school year; provides legislative findings re enforcing codes of student conduct; requires that superintendent recommend procedures to school board for certain suspended students; requires that student's parent or guardian cooperate in controlling student's behavior, etc. Amends 984.151, 1003.26.
