CS/HB 89: Grieving Parents Rights Act
GENERAL BILL by Johnson ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Allen ; Attkisson ; Baxley ; Cantens ; Sansom
Grieving Parents Rights Act; provides popular name of "Stephanie Saboor Grieving Parents Rights Act"; provides that where health care practitioner or facility has custody of fetus following spontaneous fetal demise, health care facility must notify mother of her right to burial or cremation of fetus; provides requirements re notification; directs Health Dept. & AHCA to develop forms. Creates 383.33625.
