CS/SB 14-E: Workers' Compensation

GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Saunders ; Cowin ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Lynn ; Alexander ; Dockery ; Haridopolos ; Pruitt

Workers' Compensation; (THIS BILL COMBINES S14-E, 16-E) provides that any licensee under Contracting law who forms corporation in order to become eligible for exemption from certain requirements for workers' compensation coverage is not required to obtain approval for change of status or for qualified business organization license under said law until July 1, 2004; redefines term "corporate officer" for purposes of Workers' Compensation law, etc. Amends 440.02.
