CS/HB 1007: Sentencing Juveniles
GENERAL BILL by Harper ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Gibson
Sentencing Juveniles; prohibits state attorney from entering into certain agreements involving prosecution of juvenile offenders; provides that juveniles may be sentenced to juvenile sanctions or to combination of juvenile & adult sanctions; provides procedure for those instances when Juvenile Justice Dept. proposes to discharge child from juvenile probation, commitment, or postcommitment probation program before he or she becomes 21 years of age, etc. Amends FS.
