CS/HB 113: School Boards/School Drug Testing
GENERAL BILL by Homan ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Culp ; Kendrick ; Planas ; Zapata
School Boards/School Drug Testing; authorizes district school board programs & policies to require drug testing of middle & high school students in certain circumstances; prohibits district school boards from using instructional funds to pay for testing; prohibits district school boards from excluding students from extracurricular activities based on inability to pay for testing; authorizes State Board of Education to adopt rules. Amends 1001.43.
