SB 1220: Property/Living Quarters/Parents

GENERAL BILL by Finance and Taxation

Property/Living Quarters/Parents; authorizes board of county commissioners to adopt ordinance to provide for reductions in property assessments for living quarters of parents or grandparents; requires that copy of ordinance be delivered to property appraiser by specified date; defines term "qualified parent or grandparent"; provides that said appraiser shall rely on sworn affidavit by property owner that eligibility requirements have been met, etc. Amends 193.703.
