GENERAL BILL by Appropriations ; Finance and Taxation ; Appropriations Subcommittee on Criminal Justice ; Health, Aging, and Long-Term Care ; Saunders

Internet Pharmacies; exempts Internet pharmacies from registration requirements applicable to nonresident pharmacies; prohibits distribution of medicinal drugs by Internet pharmacy without permit; requires Internet pharmacies to be permitted & provides requirements therefor; requires Internet pharmacy & pharmacist designated by that pharmacy to serve as prescription dept. manager or its equivalent to be licensed in state of location, etc. Amends FS. APPROPRIATION: $590,051.
