GENERAL BILL by Health, Aging, and Long-Term Care ; Saunders ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Margolis
Health Care Providers; revises definition for purposes of Access to Health Care Act to provide that contract with health care provider to serve low-income patients requires provider to deliver services without compensation & prohibits health care provider from billing any third-party payor for any services rendered to low-income patients; redefines term "health care provider" to include certain free-clinics, etc. Amends 766.1115, 381.00593.
