SB 2104: Sentencing Juveniles
GENERAL BILL by Wilson
Sentencing Juveniles; provides that juveniles may be sentenced to juvenile sanctions or to combination of juvenile & adult sanctions; provides procedure for those instances when Juvenile Justice Dept. proposes to discharge child before he or she becomes 21 years of age; requires dept. to notify sentencing court of its intent to discharge child no later than 30 days before discharge; directs sentencing court to consider educational needs of child, etc. Amends 985.233.
