SB 2174: Energy Efficiency Standards
GENERAL BILL by Geller
Energy Efficiency Standards; provides legislative findings & definitions; provides that act applies to specified types of new products sold, offered for sale, or installed in this state; requires DEP, in consultation with Public Service Commission, to adopt rules establishing minimum efficiency standards; requires dept. to adopt procedures for testing energy efficiency of new products if procedures are not provided for in state building code, etc.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
