GENERAL BILL by Education ; Atwater ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Wilson ; Cowin

Students/Reading Deficiencies; provides certain rights to parents of students with reading deficiencies; requires that parents receive understandable information & are consulted re child's academic progress; provides notification of additional information to parents of students who exhibit substantial reading deficiency; revises certain good cause exemptions from mandatory retention, etc. Amends 1002.20, 1008.25.
