SB 2594: Medicaid Provider Fraud
GENERAL BILL by Diaz de la Portilla
Medicaid Provider Fraud; revises elements of offense of Medicaid provider fraud to require that person must have willfully engaged in certain prohibited activities rather than only knowingly engaged in those prohibited activities; provides that proof of false statement or representation gives rise to inference of willful submission of fraudulent claim under certain circumstances, etc. Amends 409.920; reenacts 921.0022(3)(g).
