CS/SB 2762: Driving Under Influence
GENERAL BILL by Appropriations Subcommittee on Criminal Justice ; Smith
Driving Under Influence; provides that previous conviction for offense of driving under influence is sufficient evidence to establish such conviction; provides that such evidence may be rebutted or contradicted; requires HSMV to review materials submitted by law enforcement officer to determine whether materials comply with applicable statutes, rules, & policies; directs dept. to inform law enforcement officer when deficiency exists, etc. Amends 316.193.
