Sheriff's Office; provides for career service for members of said office; provides for application of act, career status of members, & administration; provides for procedure re complaints against members; provides for appeals; provides for certain protections during transition of new Sheriff; provides for Career Service Appeal Board & for status as career members; prohibits certain actions to circumvent act; provides for exclusions, etc.
