SB 530: Parole for Juveniles
GENERAL BILL by Geller
Parole for Juveniles; provides that child younger than specified age who is found to have committed offense punishable by death or life imprisonment is eligible for parole if child has not previously been adjudicated for certain offenses; requires that child be incarcerated in youthful-offender facility for minimum period before becoming eligible for parole release; requires that Parole Commission review child for release, etc. Amends 985.225.
