CS/SB 602: Children's Advocacy Centers/Funding
GENERAL BILL by Children and Families ; Smith ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Lynn ; Crist
Children's Advocacy Centers/Funding; imposes additional court cost against persons who plead guilty or nolo contendere to, or who are found guilty of, certain crimes against minors; requires clerk of court to deposit proceeds of court cost into State Treasury for deposit into specified trust fund to be used to fund children's advocacy centers; requires compliance with specified statutory provisions in order for such center to receive certain funding, etc. Creates 938.10; amends 39.3035.
