GENERAL BILL by Comprehensive Planning ; Banking and Insurance ; Regulated Industries ; Constantine ; Smith ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Lynn

Emergency Elevator Access; (THIS BILL COMBINES S672,680) provides requirements re regional emergency elevator access; requires elevators in certain newly constructed or certain substantially improved buildings to be keyed alike within each of state emergency response regions; creates Elevator Safety Technical Advisory Council within Hotels & Restaurants Div. of DBPR; authorizes county or municipality to assess reasonable fee for inspections, etc. Amends FS.

Effective Date: Upon becoming law except as otherwise provided
