CS/CS/CS/SB 1062: Seaport Security
GENERAL BILL by Transportation and Economic Development Appropriations ; Criminal Justice ; Domestic Security ; Domestic Security
Seaport Security; requires that FDLE establish waiver process for allowing individual, who is otherwise unqualified, to be allowed unescorted access to seaport or restricted access area; authorizes seaport authority or governing board of certain seaports to require that seaport security officers receive additional training & certification; provides continuing education requirements for certification, etc. Amends 311.12; creates 311.121,.122,.123.
