GENERAL BILL by Berfield ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Ambler ; Grimsley ; Homan ; Zapata
Discount Medical Plan Organizations; revises provisions re licensure requirements to do business as said organization; provides requirements for issuance of license; authorizes Insurance Regulation Office to deny license; provides that said organizations are not subject to Fla. Insurance Code for purposes of examination & investigation; revises provisions re reimbursement of certain charges & fees upon cancellation of membership in plan, etc. Amends Ch. 636.
