CS/HB 1257: Fiscally Constrained Counties

GENERAL BILL by Pickens ; Brown ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Attkisson ; Bean ; Cretul ; Dean ; Gibson ; Grimsley ; Jennings ; Kendrick ; Proctor ; Richardson ; Stansel

Fiscally Constrained Counties; provides for distribution of tax revenue to said counties; provides for transitional emergency distribution from Local Government Half-cent Sales Tax Clearing Trust Fund to certain fiscally constrained counties; provides eligibility criteria to qualify as fiscally constrained county; provides for distribution of additional funds to certain fiscally constrained counties, etc. Amends Ch. 212.20, 218.65, 288.0656,.1169, 985.2155; creates 218.67. APPROPRIATION: $2,000,000.
