GENERAL BILL by Gannon ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Adams ; Barreiro ; Brandenburg ; Fields ; Joyner ; Planas ; Porth ; Sobel

Residential Tenancies; provides for early lease termination if victim of domestic violence, repeat violence, sexual violence, or dating violence elects to leave residential rental property; requires victim to comply with any criminal investigation & prosecution re such offenses; allows rental agreement to provide for liquidated damages upon breach & for fee for tenant to obtain early termination of rental agreement in certain circumstances, etc. Amends Ch. 83.
