SB 158: Lifeline Telecommunications Service
GENERAL BILL by Siplin
Lifeline Telecommunications Service; prohibits local exchange telecommunications company from discontinuing local service to consumer for nonpayment of other telephone services; authorizes such telecommunications company to block specified long-distance services when customer owes outstanding account for those services; directs such company to offer consumer who applies for or receives Lifeline service option of blocking all toll calls, etc. Amends 364.10.
