CS/HB 1615: Guardianship

GENERAL BILL by Sands ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Kendrick ; Legg

Guardianship; provides that Statewide Public Guardianship Office need not review credit & criminal investigations from college or university before registering institution as professional guardian; provides that in event of death, surviving parent is sole natural guardian of minor; increases time emergency temporary guardian may serve to 90 days; revises provisions re removal of guardian who is not family member, etc. Amends FS.
