Scripps Research Improvement Dist.; creates Scripps Research Improvement District; provides for appointment of initial board of supervisors of district & for election of board of supervisors by specified date; provides for meetings of landowners & supervisors; provides for ownership, acquisition, mortgage, lease, & disposal of property & facilities; provides power of board to levy ad valorem taxes for specified purposes; requires referendum, etc.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law except as otherwise provided
