SB 1692: Medical Tort Reform

GENERAL BILL by Baker ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Clary

Medical Tort Reform; provides for out-of-state physicians or out-of-state-osteopathic physicians to obtain expert witness certificate upon approval by Board of Medicine or Board of Osteopathic Medicine; provides that false, deceptive, or misleading expert testimony re practice of medicine or osteopathic medicine constitutes grounds for disciplinary action or denial of medical license, etc. Creates 458.3175, 459.0066; amends 458.331, 459.015, 627.4147, 766.106.
