CS/SB 1702: Teen Courts

GENERAL BILL by Justice Appropriations ; Bennett ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Bullard ; Wilson ; Posey

Teen Courts; authorizes board of county commissioners to adopt ordinance that incorporates provisions of act; provides funding for teen court through assessment of additional court cost against each person who pleads guilty or nolo contendere to, or is convicted of, violation of criminal law, ordinance, or traffic offense in county; requires teen court to account for all funds deposited into teen court account, etc. Amends 938.19, 939.185.
