CS/SB 1738: Juvenile Home Detention

GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; Wise

Juvenile Home Detention; redefines term "home detention" to mean detention that requires parent, guardian, or custodian to supervise child who is placed on such detention; deletes provisions making DJJ responsible for supervising child who is placed on such detention; provides that child may be placed on home detention with or without electronic monitoring; provides for detention under certain criteria, etc. Amends 985.03,.215,.231,.2311.
