GENERAL BILL by Children and Families ; Criminal Justice ; Crist

Juvenile Justice; clarifies when child who escapes from commitment may be taken into custody by law enforcement officer; clarifies when DOC may take child who is believed to have escaped from facility of dept. into custody; provides maximum length of minimum-risk, nonresidential commitment for child who commits second-degree misdemeanor; requires DJJ to create task force on juvenile sexual offenders & their victims, etc. Amends Ch. 985, 784.075.
