SB 1986: Pretrial Release
GENERAL BILL by Dockery
Pretrial Release; prohibits defendant, as condition of pretrial release, from purchasing or receiving firearm under certain specified circumstances; requires that defendant surrender any firearm in his or her possession to law enforcement officer if defendant poses credible threat to safety of alleged victim, victim's family, or witness & if defendant & alleged victim are intimate partners, etc. Amends 903.047.
