SB 2064: Postsecondary Athletics
GENERAL BILL by King
Postsecondary Athletics; provides that it is third-degree felony for person to solicit or accept any thing of value from employee or representative of public postsecondary educational institution for purpose of encouraging student to enroll in such institution in order to compete in intercollegiate athletic events; provides that act does not prohibit actions otherwise permitted by rule or regulation governing recruitment of athletes by postsecondary educational institutions.
