CS/CS/SB 2570: Home Medical Equipment Providers
GENERAL BILL by Health and Human Services Appropriations ; Health Care ; Jones ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Bennett ; Lynn
Home Medical Equipment Providers; provides that physicians who sell, rent, or supply equipment or devices to their patients are exempt from licensure as home medical equipment provider; includes additional categories of equipment in report required by applicants for licensure; increases amount of liability insurance required of such providers; requires proof of accreditation as prerequisite for licensure or license renewal, etc. Amends Ch. 400.
