SB 2628: Marine Net Fishing
JOINT RESOLUTION by Lawson
Marine Net Fishing; constitutional amendment to allow seine nets to be used for harvesting mullet in state waters; provides that such net means any net constructed of braided or twisted nylon, cotton, linen, or polypropylene twine, regardless of its mesh size, that does not exceed 500 square feet; clarifies that such nets shall not be considered gill nets or entangling nets. Amends s. 16, Art. X.
