CS/CS/HB 347: Consumer Protection/State Emergency

GENERAL BILL by Waters ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Allen ; Bilirakis ; Greenstein ; Hasner ; Justice

Consumer Protection/State Emergency; provides criminal penalties for any person who fails to possess occupational license & offers goods & services for sale to public during declared state of emergency; provides that failure to possess such license constitutes reasonable cause to detain such person for reasonable amount of time & in reasonable manner; provides Governor with certain emergency management powers, etc. Amends 501.160, 252.36.
