CS/HB 55: Voter-Approved Indigent Care Surtax

Voter-Approved Indigent Care Surtax; authorizes small counties having specified millage value to levy an indigent care surtax subject to referendum approval; provides limitations; provides procedures; specifies authorized uses of surtax proceeds; authorizes issuance of bonds for certain purposes; provides maximum tax rate. Amends 212.055.

Effective Date: Upon becoming law
