CS/CS/SB 572: Consumer Protection/Emergencies
GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; Commerce and Consumer Services ; Garcia ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Fasano ; Lynn ; Crist
Consumer Protection/Emergencies; provides criminal penalties for any person who fails to possess occupational license & offers goods & services for sale to public during declared state of emergency; provides that this provision shall not apply to certain organizations; provides that failure to possess such license constitutes reasonable cause to detain such person for reasonable amount of time & in reasonable manner, etc. Amends 501.160, 252.36.
