GENERAL BILL by Homan ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Porth
Health Care Services; prohibits health insurer from demanding repayment of overpayment made due to error of health insurer; prohibits HMO contracts from prohibiting or restricting subscribers from assigning plan benefits to noncontract physicians for certain services; requires HMO to pay, & prohibits denial of, claim for treatment under certain circumstances; revises provisions for reimbursement of noncontract providers, etc. Amends Ch. 641, 627.6131.
