PROPOSED BILL by Communications and Public Utilities

Public Service Commission; creates Committee on Public Service Commission Oversight as standing joint committee of Legislature; deletes authority of Governor to appoint members to PSC; specifies that Governor has no planning or budgetary authority re commission; specifies that Governor & DMS have no authority over commission's employees; repeals provisions re power of Governor to remove commissioners of Public Service Commission, etc. Amends Ch. 350.
