GENERAL BILL by Margolis ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Fasano ; Lynn ; Bullard ; Posey
Protection & Care for Elders; reclassifies offense of aggravated abuse of elderly person or disabled adult from second-degree felony to first-degree felony; creates provision re training on identifying & investigating elder abuse for certified law enforcement officers; provides that officer's certification becomes inactive in certain circumstances re failure to complete training, etc. Amends 825.102, 921.0022; creates 943.17296.
