CS/CS/SB 1018: Tax Benefit/Catastrophic Emergencies

GENERAL BILL by Community Affairs ; Domestic Security ; Bennett

Tax Benefit/Catastrophic Emergencies; includes as infrastructure any fixed capital expenditure or fixed capital outlay associated with improvement of certain private facilities that owner agrees to make available as public emergency shelter or staging area for emergency response equipment during emergencies declared by state or local government; requires that improvements be limited to those necessary to meet current standards for emergency evacuation shelters, etc. Amends 212.055.
